Garden Shed converted into a Sauna

100 sqft garden shed has doors on both left and right.

Full of debris and somewhat damp.  Existing light and outlets run from garage power. 

Existing roof was not keeping the space dry. Removed shingles, sheeting, etc. 

New roof - sheeting, drip edge, underlayment, and shingles   

Interior sheeting and framing was sprayed with Kilz primer to reduce and future issues with moisture.

Rockwool insulation for walls and ceiling. 

Supplied metal foil vapor barrier stapled over new insulation. Barrier was applied to entire ceiling and interior sauna space. 

Tongue and groove clear cedar fastened to furring strips with galvanized 15ga nail. Hidden hardware. 

An interior wall added separate the entry space from the sauna space. Blocking added for mounting electric stove. Rough opening for supplied pre-hung kit door

Entry space sheeted with 3/4 pine plywood. 

Clear vertical grain 2x4 cedar used for bench. Notch around outlet at left. Sliding vent.
